Moderator/Villain Eligibility Requirements

1. If you are selected by Aeverine Frathleen “Ava” (Zinn) Nieves for an interview, you must be willing to watch American Idol, The Voice, So You Think You Can Dance, America’s Got Talent, and Dancing with the Stars at the time of the broadcast (typically at 8:00 PM Eastern/5:00 PM Pacific) in the sole discretion of Aeverine Frathleen “Ava” (Zinn) Nieves and at one of the following locations nearest you or by Zoom listed below in this document. The Producers of Vote for the Girls reserve the right to add, cancel and/or substitute other cities as interview locations.

2. If you are selected by the Producers of Vote for the Girls for an interview as a Moderator or Villain, you must be willing to participate via Zoom as scheduled by the Producers or Aeverine Frathleen “Ava” (Zinn) Nieves in their sole discretion for the final selection process.

3. You must be willing to participate in the reality-based competitions involved (American Idol, The Voice, So You Think You Can Dance, America’s Got Talent, and Dancing with the Stars) from 7:00 PM Eastern/4:00 PM Pacific to 12:00 AM Eastern/9:00 PM Pacific on such dates (usually from August through May) to be determined by Producers and/or Aeverine Frathleen “Ava” (Zinn) Nieves in their sole discretion. If you are chosen as a Female Moderator on the Purple or Pink Team or a Male Villain on the Red or Blue Team, it is your responsibility to make any necessary arrangements with your employer and family in anticipation of your position on Vote for the Girls.

4a. As a Female Moderator on the Pink and Purple Team, you will be required to vote for female contestants. You cannot vote for a male contestant for any reason unless you earn a male flex pick. Female contestants are defined as female vocalists on American Idol and The Voice, female performers on America’s Got Talent and So You Think You Can Dance,  approved male-female duos by the Producers and/or Aeverine Frathleen “Ava” (Zinn) Nieves, predominately and all-girl groups. Predominately girl groups are defined as 51% or more females in the group.

4b. As a Male Villain on the Red and Blue Team, you will be required to vote for male contestants. You cannot vote for a female contestant for any reason unless you earn a female flex pick. Male contestants are defined as male vocalists on American Idol and The Voice, male performers on America’s Got Talent and So You Think You Can Dance, approved male-female duos by the Producers and/or Aeverine Frathleen “Ava” (Zinn) Nieves, predominately and all-boy groups. Predominately boy groups are defined as 51% or more males in the group.

4c. As a Purple Team Moderator, you will be required to vote for female celebrities on Dancing with the Stars. You cannot vote for a male celebrity unless you have a flex pick.

4d. As a Pink Team Moderator, you will be required to vote for male celebrities on Dancing with the Stars. You cannot vote for a female celebrity unless you have a flex pick.


4e. The Moderators and Villains are competing in a battle of the sexes’ competition. The female moderators will be on the Pink Team and the transgender female moderators will be on the Purple Team. The male villains will be on the Blue Team and the transgender male moderators will be on the Red Team. The Producers will record, broadcast and exhibit your actions and voice at all times for the duration of your participation in the contest. You will be observed at all times by the Producers as well as the public watching on the Vote for the Girls YouTube channel, the Internet, mobile devices, and any and all other media.

5. Should a female contestant win American Idol, The Voice, America’s Got Talent, So You Think You Can Dance, the winning Moderator(s) or Villain(s) in the American Idol, The Voice, America’s Got Talent, So You Think You Can Dance, and/or Dancing with the Stars competition(s) will receive an award chosen by the Producers and/or Aeverine Frathleen “Ava” (Zinn) Nieves. In the event of a winning Moderator, the Pink and Purple Team receives a reward (usually a recreational activity away from Vote for the Girls and other potential prizes) while the losing Villains will do a mundane task, such as cleaning the Winning Moderator’s home, a humiliating task, and sometimes eating something unsavory (such as food waste blended into a smoothie) for dinner to be posted on the Vote for the Girls’ YouTube channel.

6. You must be at least 21 years of age by January 1st, 2021.

7. You must be a United States citizen and live in the United States.

8. You must not now be a candidate for public office and if selected as a Moderator or Villain, you must agree not to become such a candidate until after the initial broadcast of all programs in which you appear. Special considerations will be made in the event should you audition for American Idol, The Voice, America’s Got Talent or So You Think You Can Dance at the sole discretion of Producers or Aeverine Frathleen “Ava” (Zinn) Nieves.

9. You must be in excellent physical and mental health.

10. If you are selected to be interviewed, you may be given and must complete and return (prior to the date of your personal interview in Fort Wayne, Indiana), any further application materials or documents (such as your birth certificate, passport, and/or other identification) as well as a Medical History Form.

11. If selected as a Moderator or Villain, you must complete the Participant Form Package, which will be furnished to you by the Producers and will include among other things, affidavits, release forms, and waivers for you and your immediate family. You must also submit to physical and mental examinations by Producer- selected medical professional(s) in Fort Wayne, Indiana selected by the Producer and meet all physical and psychological requirements.

12. By applying for the Moderator or Villain positions on Vote for the Girls, you authorize the Producers and/or Aeverine Frathleen “Ava” (Zinn) Nieves to conduct civil, criminal, financial, driver history, and any other type of background checks deemed necessary by the Producers or Aeverine Frathleen “Ava” (Zinn) Nieves.

13. Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Aeverine Zinn Holdings, Nexstar Media Group, Allen Media, Quincy Media Inc., and/or of their respective licensees, assigns, parents, affiliated and subsidiary companies (including ViacomCBS, NBC Universal, Disney, 21st Century Fox, Fox Studios or television network, Fox News and FX) and the immediate family (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, daughter or son, regardless of where they live) or members of their same households (whether related or not) of such employees, officers, directors, and agents are not eligible to be Moderators or Villains on Vote for the Girls or participate in the application process.

Applicants will further be chosen to create a pool of finalists. The Producers reserve the right to change any of the applicable terms at any time or to select or not select anyone at their sole discretion.

The Producers are looking for a dynamic group of individuals who are articulate, interesting, and exhibit enthusiasm for the project as well as a willingness to share their most private thoughts in an open forum of strangers. This group of individuals, while meeting the technical requirements of the program, must also have sufficient physical, psychological, and mental capacity to endure approximately 100 days in a monitored house under extraordinary conditions.

Applications MUST go to avazinn.com to fill out an on-line application and submit a video. Please take careful note to follow all instructions on the website.

Deadline: Currently, there is no deadline for applications, but we have a strong preference to receive your applications as early as possible.

All materials you send us (including videotape and photos) will be retained by Producers and become the property of the Producers and will not be returned to you whether you are selected as a Moderator or Villain. Any expenses you incur during the application process including postage, shipping, and materials preparation (videotape, photos, etc.) are your sole responsibility. Producers will not reimburse you for these expenses. Only one entry per person is allowed. All decisions of the Producers are final and absolute and not subject to inquiry.

At this time, all applicants MUST complete an online application to be considered. Please remember to upload a video and a photo of yourself.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to verify that we have received your application.

If you are selected for an interview, you will be advised so by the Producers shortly before the interview is scheduled. If you are selected to participate in the final selection process, you will be so advised by the Producers shortly before the final selection process is scheduled.

Producers reserve the right to change the terms of the application and the production schedule at any time. Producers reserve the right to change the eligibility requirements and any other application rules in its sole discretion at any time with or without notice on a specific, case-by-case basis or across the entire applicant pool. Aeverine Frathleen “Ava” (Zinn) Nieves and/or Producers also reserve the right to not hold any participant applicant interviews, or to modify the manner in which it conducts participant applicant interviews, or to not produce the program Vote for the Girls at all.
