WE WERE THIS CLOSE TO DISASTER! Tonight we found out Amber Holcomb was the first girl in American Idol’s 12th season to land in the bottom three. If only… we can save the season! Now we do need to keep voting off the guys since there are now three guys and five girls left and keep voting for all five ladies for a shot at the American Idol title since Jordin won six years ago. The ladies are simply strong this year, and if history does repeat itself it’ll be hard to make Lazaro Arbos (Vote for the Worst’s pick), Burnell Taylor, and Devin Velez  to beat the five ladies.

Less consequential, Paul Jolley was sent home. Eh… at least he was WGWG material. Vote for the Girls’ mission is to vote off the male contestants, in the event should the last guy standing is eliminated, it will be an automatic VFTG Victory.

Unlike last week, Idol did not release the vote rankings from this week and four out of five VFTG picks Angie, Kree, Candice, and Janelle were safe. Amazing job, ladies! We could actually help make this an all-female finale since season 3 if we keep it up.
