VFTG Mailbag (12/12/13)

Last week following Ellona and Rion’s eliminations, VFTG Founder and Webmaster Ava Zinn’s decision to sell her virginity and launching a porn site as the Punishment for failure is gaining controversy. SO she dug into the mailbag and wanted to share these comments that the friends and fans of the VFTG Moderator Panel are saying about last week’s VFTG Loss. The following comments are taken from Ava Zinn’s personal Facebook and The X Factror USA Facebook page

Leonard Lai: Ava Zinn in a swimsuit and Holly Everman in a bra and panties as a punishment for the eliminations of Ellona Santiago and Rion Paige–these women have gone too far.
Sheena F.: Porn? Ava, don’t downgrade your self like that please.
Cortney H.: It’s not a “friendly” wager if this is the punishment. Whoever put you up to it should be ashamed of themselves because they are not a good person and not someone you should associate with. You have a choice. Since you know those people are awful, don’t lower yourself to their low moral standard. I think starting the porn site (as a Vote for the Girls Punishment for Failure and as a condition of Ava selling her virginity) is a ridiculous and a pretty serious thing to do over people getting voted off of a singing competition….in the end it’s your choice. If you go through with it, it will be because you want to. Nobody will force you to do it.

Ava Zinn (yours truly commented on The X Factor USA Page): Because of that shocking eliminations of Ellona and Rion I have one of the most shocking personal announcements of mine on both my Vote for the Girls web site and my personal site. Let that be the reminder of thinking twice about voting for the wrong acts on this programme as well as other similar shows

Look at Jennel Garcia’s elimination last year on X factor…

Look at Pia Toscano’s elimination on American Idol three years ago.

Look at Rachel Crow, Drew, and Stacy Francis from two years ago on x factor.

Look at Angle Miller’s elimination on American Idol from last season.

Do you know who is responsible for their eliminations? Let me give you the answer—A little web site called Vote for the Worst. This is why that site shut down back in June 2013. This is why we want change.

A change that we believe in. That is why I launched the Vote for the Girls site in April 2010 and that particular site of mine got the first victory when Melanie Amaro won X Factor 1.

No wonder X Factor’s ratings were down this year. Its because people in the USA are voting for the acts.

Should Fox renew X Factor for a 4th season or the show moves to another network or whatever, i think it has something to do with the timeslot and the eliminations.

If I were Simon Cowell’s shoes, and the executives at Fox… I would have no problem with the two hour a week schedule. I would fire Paulina Rubnio (other than her accent). All I’ll say is the show needs retooling. These shocking and painful eliminations are senseless. At the end if the day xfactor’s just a television programme and it’s basically simple as that–a television programme that has been followed by a site like VFTGUS and VFTW.
